Al-Kharj Governor Sponsors Graduation Ceremony of 351 Trainees at FIP

His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Kharj, sponsored the graduation ceremony of 351 trainees from the Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP) for the academic year 2022-2023. The event was attended by Abdullah Al-Badr, Chairman of the Polytechnic’s Board of Directors, and Abdullah Al-Marzouq, Deputy Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).

During the ceremony, the Polytechnic’s training programs were showcased, highlighting their role in localization efforts by developing skilled human capital to drive progress in the industrial sector across various disciplines.The Polytechnic signed several agreements aimed at supporting localization through training and employment with key companies, including Leha Group, Jal Al-Sahra, Luna, Tania, and Mawared Water Company.

His Royal Highness presented recognition shields to the Polytechnic’s training and employment partners, including Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), and Leading companies such as Almarai, Al Safi, Afaq Company, Nadec, Durrah Advanced Development Company, and CGS Company.

The event also featured the launch of the Food Industry Magazine, speeches from the Chairman of the Board and the graduating students, commemorative photo sessions, and the honoring of outstanding graduates.

FIP is part of the National Center for Strategic Partnerships, a collaboration between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and Almarai, with support from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).

The Polytechnic offers a variety of specialized programs, including:

  • Food Production Technologies: Bakery Diploma and Juice & Dairy Diploma
  • Farm Technologies
  • Maintenance: Heavy and Light Equipment Maintenance
  • Electrical and HVAC Technologies

The graduation ceremony reflects the Polytechnic’s ongoing commitment to supporting Saudi Vision 2030 by qualifying and empowering national talent to contribute effectively to the food manufacturing sector.
