This qualification is designed for learners who are working in food operation roles, typically in automated FMCG production/processing companies. The qualification offers learners the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge, including a range of sciences, practical food production, design and technology, required to prove competence at work. The learners will get specific food industry training such as health and safety, food safety, risk assessment and HACCP. This will ensure that trainees will be fully prepared for a wide range of food related careers.
Intended Learning Outcomes
After the completion of this Qualification the trainees are expected to be able to:
Prepare and maintain process machineries and tools
Operate the processing equipment as per work instruction
Follow Safety rules and regulations to control hazards at the workplace.
Handle chemical properly as per MSDS
Plan dairy and juice production
Plan dairy and lab equipment’s utilization and manpower
Assess dairy and juice parameters
Organize dairy and lab equipment
Produce various dairy and juice products in the pilot plant
Understand Quality assurance activities in Dairy industry
Clean and ensure regular maintenance of dairy equipment
Document and maintain record
Entry Requirement
Students who are having Secondary School Certificate with minimum 80% marks
