Purpose overview

The purpose of this qualification is to train young Saudi trainees to meet the upcoming challenges of Food Supply Chain Industry. This program is developed based on industry’s Best Practice Standard as well as the Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO’s) specific to job requirements i.e. tasks, skills and knowledge. This diploma is intended for those individuals who aspire to explore and thrive on opportunities in various domains of supply chain and retail management in a range of industries.  

Intended Learning Outcomes

After the completion of this Qualification the trainees are expected to be able to:
  • Understand supply chain and retail management in modern enterprises.
  • Develop competencies for successful working across all functions of supply chain.
  • Enhancement of communication and foundation skills in multicultural and multitalented organizations.
  • Perform Retail/KA/WS sales operation in assigned area/route.
  • Meet company’s objectives of Sales and Distribution by month/quarterly/annually.
  • Perform 7-Steps sales call process for effective market execution.
  • Handle credit customers through KYC documentations.
  • Enhance Numeric and weighted distribution for company’s product in route/market.
  • Enhance productivity and drop size as per company requirement.
  • Generate sales and return invoices through HHT.
  • Handle market returns/RTVs as per company policy.
  • Merchandize and displays at eye catching location in market.
  • Manage customer complaints timely with corrective measures.
  • Compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • In addition, trainee will have the knowledge to effectively manage Risk and Disruptions by leverage technology to streamline processes.

Entry Requirement

  • Students who are having Secondary School Certificate with minimum 80% marks
  • Age 18-22 years
  • Pass Admission test and interview
