Diploma in Mechanical Technology

Purpose overview
This Mechanical Specialization program provides hands-on training in the safe use of tools and equipment essential for Mechanical Technicians. Trainees learn safety protocols, interpret technical drawings, and develop key fitter skills for assembling and dismantling components like bearings, pumps, and valves.
The program covers electro-pneumatic and hydraulic operations using the Festo Simulator, along with metalworking, machining, and welding techniques. Preventive maintenance for equipment such as pasteurizers and packaging machines is also included, with an introduction to sensors and limit switches.
The program concludes with a workplace training visit and a six-month On-the-Job Training (OJT) for seamless industry integration.
